Ecclesia Nigeria lists Christian events across Nigeria. This page says in plain words what we keep about you, why, and how to have it removed. Questions go to anthonymichael054@gmail.com.
| What | When | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Events you save | You tap Save | So you can find them again | On your own phone or computer only. Clear your browser data to remove it. |
| A reminder address from your browser | You turn reminders on | To send you a notification before a saved event | Until you turn reminders off, or your browser drops it. We also keep the title and time of events you saved. |
| An event you send us | You use Submit an event | To check it and list it | Listed events stay while they are useful. Rejected ones are deleted after 90 days. |
| Your contact details on that form | You choose to add them | So the owner can ask a question | Only the owner sees them. They are erased after 90 days. |
| An advertising enquiry (name, business, email, phone) | You use Advertise | To reply to you | Up to 13 months, then deleted. |
| Ad views and clicks | An ad is shown or tapped | To tell advertisers how their ad did | Counts only, with no name, device or place. Deleted after 13 months. |
| A takedown or correction request | You use the Takedown page | To act on it and keep a record | Until it is settled, then for a limited time as a record. |
| The owner’s email | The owner signs in | To protect the owner tools | While the site runs. |
Some events are found by software that reads public web pages and public search results. A person checks them before they appear, unless they come from the host’s own website. We do not collect personal details this way. We only list the event, who hosts it, where and when.
Posters, church names and ministers’ names are shown to tell people about an event. Posters are added only with the host’s permission. If you are a host or a person named on the site and want something removed or corrected, use the takedown page. We answer within 72 hours.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Write to anthonymichael054@gmail.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
The site is for a general audience and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect details from children.
If we change this page, the date at the top changes too.
